Chinese New Year Activities for Kids in Grades K-3

A few years ago, my husband taught in Hong Kong for a semester. At the time we had a 3-year-old, 2-year-old, and infant. You wouldn’t believe the stares we got as we pushed our three-person-stroller around Hong Kong’s busy streets and through its subways!

Since we arrived in early January, we were able to be in China for its New Year celebration. In fact, the photo you see in the picture below is from the spectacular fireworks show that my husband and I watched over Victoria Harbor.

Since the holiday is coming up this week, today I’m sharing Chinese New Year activities for kids in grades K-3. Check them out!
