It feels like this year has both dragged on forever and gone too quickly. And I’m pretty sure I say that every year.

Sure, there have been some bad days, failures, and moments that I’d just like to ignore and move on. But there have also been some incredible experiences and memories I’ll cherish forever.

My favorite way to plan ahead for the new year is to look back on the past year. I’ll be seeing what went great and what didn’t so I can keep doing the good and avoid the bad {where I can}.

This printable year in review mostly focuses on the fun and happy times. While I know I can learn from my mistakes, it doesn’t help to dwell on them for too long.

I decided to make one that is geared more towards adults. So this one has some lines for “favorite things,” but mostly it focuses on goals and planning {which my kids do not care about, no matter how I encourage them}.
